She’s now @pondleigh!

Why the change, you ask?
I’ve been morethanimaginable for almost FIVE years here on tumblr and various places around the internet, it was a phrase I came up with at the age of 17 that described the kind of life I hope(d) to live. A life that is more than I, or anyone else, could have possibly imagined. It is a phrase representative of who I will be until I die, but now I’m 21. And it’s time to move on, at least for a little while. 

I chose pondleigh for a few reasons. It was a phrase that came to me in the middle of the night, just before I fell asleep; and is a combination, in my eyes, of the names Pond and Leigh. The first of those words is a nickname I’ve come to have and appreciate among my friends, based upon my similarities to the character of Amy Pond on Doctor Who. I’m told if you know me in real life, the comparison is understandable. The second word, Leigh, is a family name. My great-grandfather’s name was Leroy; he died two years prior to my birth, but my mother feminized his moniker to serve as my middle name. I’ve heard he and I are pretty similar too, which is a comparison I cannot express my joy for. I also chose pondleigh because it reminds me of fondly, which is one of my favourite expressions in the English language.

So that’s where I am now. I’ve moved on slightly, but I’m no more different than when I dyed my hair. And I hope you all still enjoy what I post, what I have to say, and what I am fond of. Especially since my followers are pretty close to number one on that list. :)
